About the Author

Dr. Julie Powell Hall is an educator, business professional, and inspirational storyteller whose life reflects resilience, compassion, and a love for uplifting narratives. Raised in Bethany Beach, Delaware, she overcame early challenges that shaped her commitment to positivity and personal growth, values that shine through in her debut book, Max’s Last Journey: Paws Across America.

Julie’s professional path spans 13 years at Eastman Kodak, work in finance at Dun & Bradstreet, and a distinguished 17-year career at Napa Valley College, where she retired as Professor Emerita of Business Administration. She earned her Ph.D. in Education with a focus on Professional Studies and currently teaches as an adjunct instructor at Delaware Technical College.

A passionate traveler and photographer, Julie has explored 46 U.S. states and 26 countries. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, and spending time with family, friends, and her beloved cat, Cabby. Her writing reflects her belief in hope, healing, and the journeys that shape our lives.
